Lewisville: The Connected City - Let's put every business online.

Did you hear about the connected city? The city that helped every single business get an online promo video? You didn't see it on the news? Actually, no city has ever done this...until now. As mayor, I will produce promo videos, like the videos below, for every business in Lewisville that wants one, with no cost to the business owner, and it won't cost the city a dime, either. This can be done with the camera and editing resources that are already being used on the television content that I produce for Time Warner Cable, and additional manpower is available from college interns studying film locally. With the economy the way it is, things are tough right now. Businesses are doing everything they can to hang on. Are you a business owner? Would it be helpful if potential customers could easily learn about the products and services you offer, and discover what makes your business unique? There are few tools that can help accomplish this more effectively than online promo videos and commercials. What if every business in a city had that advantage? I bet we could attract people from other areas to come shop with us. Entrepreneurs that are trying to decide where they want to setup shop will appreciate a city that goes that extra mile to help businesses succeed. We need to roll out the red carpet and attract new businesses to Lewisville so we can start filling some of our many commercial vacancies.

As mayor, I'll work with every Lewisville business that is interested to produce a complimentary promo video. Let's get connected. Let's make it easy for consumers to discover all the great products and services they can find right here in Lewisville. It's time for people to stand up and take notice. We need a mayor with vision, that regularly comes up with big ideas like this, and that wants to hear all the big ideas that Lewisville residents have. We really don't have to settle and stagnate. Let's move this city forward.
